Dinosaurs

One question that I came to have while learning the science of the true age of the earth, was with all of the factual evidence showing the earth to have been in existance for only 6,000 to 10,000 years, then what about the Dinosaurs? There is scientific evidence of man & dinosaurs existing at the same time, which also adds to the evidence of the flood, but if so wouldn't it be in the Bible? Lets explore some scriptures on this issue.

The Bible lists 6 groups of animals:
Gen 1:20-25 Ex 9:3 Joshua 8:2 Psa 104:25 148:10 Hab 1:14 Isa 43:20 Jer 9:10-11 Mal 1:3.

(Tannim) is mentioned 25 times in the Old Testiment, therefore it is believed that it was mis-interpreted to 'Whale" in Gen 1:21, since the actual Hebrew word for 'Whale' is "dag", as used in Jonah 1:17 2:1 & 10. In Ex 7:10 "tannim" was translated as 'Serpent', the actual hebrew word for 'serpent' is "nahash". The other interpretations of "Tannim" was translated into 'Dragon'.

Job 40:15-24 is believed by many to be an elephant, however they are unable to compare the small tail of the elephant with this scripture. The only know animal to fit this discription, is a 'Sauropod' (Brontosaurus [Apatosaurus]) Gentle Giants with bulky bodies, long neck & tail (the tail approx. 30 ft, weighing several tons, often being compared to a Ceder Tree), which is a plant eater. Total weight is 30 - 80 tons which necessitated leg bones being as bars of iron, the vertebrate column is the system of bones that is more maleable for flexibility of the neck & tail, as bronze is more maleable to iron. The weight distribution of the Brontosaurus is to the rear of the animal, bourne up by the loins, requiring strong loins to raise its large heavy body around the hind limbs with little effort. The best animal that describes Eze 29:3, would be a 'Supersaurus, a plant eating 30 ton sauropod which waded in rivers. Based on an acoustic analysis of the structure of the nasal cavity of a Lambeosaurine, shows it to have been conducive to resonation, making it difficult to use any other animal to discribe Micah 1:8 Job 41:1-34 Ichthyosaurs could be a giant plesiosaur or mosaraur. Isa 30:6 Fiery Flying Serpent, is it possible to use any animal other than the 'Pterosaurs? Commonly reffered to as 'winged serpents' & 'flying dragons', the largest of the flying reptiles with a wing span of 18 - 20 feet, had no teeth, but could dive for fish. No feathers for wings, similar to the wings of a bat.
